White Lightning Mountain Bike Race at LBL June 7th

Land Between the Lakes - LBLOffice of Land Between the Lakes, KY/TN – Endurance-Plus will sponsor the White Lightning mountain bike race Sunday, June 7th, at Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area. Online registration will be available at www.bikereg.com/white-lightning-xc through June 4th at 11:00pm.

Online registrants will receive $10.00 off race day price. Onsite registration will be available Sunday, June 7th, beginning at 7:30am.

“The challenging terrain on Canal Loop makes it a very popular trail with the mountain biking community,” said Kyle Varel, Land Between The Lakes Trails and OHV Assistant Manager.

Races cover 11 miles of varied terrain along Canal Loop Trail and are scheduled throughout the day. The first race begins at 8:45am. The event will be divided into several different classes and distances based on experience.

Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area manages more than 170,000 acres in western Kentucky and Tennessee as part of the U.S. Forest Service and the Department of Agriculture’s public lands program.
