Clarksville Police report Wilma Rudolph Boulevard Pedestrian Fatality

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Tuesday, June 23rd, 2015 at 12:33am, Clarksville Police Officer L. Harris responded to a crash at US-79 (Wilma Rudolph Boulevard) and Terminal Road.

A pedestrian entered the southbound travel lanes on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard for an unknown reason. The driver of a Nissan Pathfinder attempted to avoid striking the pedestrian by going left. The Pathfinder struck the pedestrian resulting in fatal injuries.

The pedestrian was transported by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.

The pedestrian, 25-year-old Kenneth Ronald Berry from Parkersburg, West Virginia, was a soldier from Fort Knox and was at Fort Campbell temporarily for training.
