Southern Montgomery County under Flash Food Warning until Midnight

National Weather ServiceNashville, TN – The National Weather Service in Nashville Tennessee has issued a flash flood warning for Eastern Houston County, Cheatham County, Western Hickman County, Humphreys County, Dickson County, Northeastern Perry County, and Southern Montgomery County in Middle Tennessee until midnight CDT.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.

At 8:57pm CDT, doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is becoming increasingly likely.

Some locations that will experience flooding include: Dickson, Ashland City, Waverly, Centerville, White Bluff, McEwen, Burns, Hurricane Mills, Pleasant View, Charlotte, Lobelville, Vanleer, Slayden, Pleasantville, Pinewood, Cheatham Dam, Bucksnort and Cunningham.

Counties Affected

Cheatham County, Dickson County, Hickman County, Houston County, Humphreys County, Montgomery County, and Perry County.
