Testing for Tennessee Insurance Licenses Now Available At Military Test Centers

120 Test Centers Are Available At Worldwide Military Installations For Service Members

Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance - TDCINashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance (TDCI) announces that Tennessee insurance licensure exams are now conveniently available at approximately 120 Pearson VUE test centers on military installations worldwide for military service members, dependents, and contractors with authorized base access.

Service members who want to gain Tennessee insurance licensure from their duty station or assignment in another state and foreign deployment now have the option to take their exams without having to return to Tennessee to test.

This is a valuable benefit to service members and their families who are frequently relocated or may be transitioning to civilian careers.

Overseas candidates should first attempt to schedule their exams online since not all overseas military test centers are able to assist candidates with their reservations. Call the domestic reservation number at 888.204.6230 to schedule an exam through the military channel, if the closest military site is unable to schedule an exam.

In addition to standard ID policies, candidates must have valid government ID and authorization to gain access to on-base test centers. Civilians without valid government ID will be turned away by the test center and/or military entrance gate security.
