“Jim has been a leader in bringing our fans Titans news for years, and he also writes insightful features that tell the story of our team and players. Jim is well-respected by fans and his fellow journalists, and we wanted someone of his caliber to anchor our content for Titansonline.com,” stated Underwood.

In addition to writing about the Titans and coordinating content for the site, Wyatt will work alongside “The Voice of the Titans”, Mike Keith, and Titansonline.com correspondent Amie Wells on a variety of Titans media platforms, including Titans All Access, Titans Radio, and both packaged reports and live productions for Titansonline.com.

Wyatt started part-time with the Tennessean in 1990 and has reported full-time for the paper since 1997. He began covering the Titans for the newspaper since 1999 and became the full-time beat writer in 2001.

A Father Ryan graduate, he has been named sportswriter of the year in Tennessee six times by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association and twice has been named as one of the top beat writers in the country by the Associated Press Sports Editors for newspapers with daily print circulations between 75,000-175,000.

“Growing up in Nashville, it was always a dream of mine to work for The Tennessean, and I can’t thank the newspaper enough for the opportunity,” said Wyatt. “I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the paper and treasure the friendships I developed. Now, I’m ready for the next chapter and looking forward to continuing my long history of covering the Titans for titansonline.com. I’d like to thank the Titans for giving me this opportunity and am excited about the chance to continue providing insight into the team I’ve covered since the 1999 season.”
