Clarksville Gas and Water reports Madison Street/U.S. Highway 41-A South Scheduled Water Outage Expanded

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water scheduled water outage on Madison Street and U.S. Highway 41A South between McAdoo Creek Road and Highway 76 has been expanded from McAdoo Creek Road eastward to the Ivy Bend and Easthaven subdivisions on Ivy Bend Circle and Smith Lane.

The water outage and low water pressure will be the result of water main line installation work that will begin tonight at 11:00pm. The work will be ongoing for approximately fifteen nights beginning nightly at 11:00pm until 5:00am the following morning.

Businesses and residences on Madison Street and U.S. Hwy 41A South, businesses and residences on side streets will also be affected, including Ballygar Street, Country Lane, Carney Road, Wilson Road, Ledbetter Lane, Village Way, Old Farmers Road, Excell Road, West Regent Drive, Shady Maple Drive, Old Sango Road, Harper Road, Quail Hollow Road, Sango Place, Sango Drive, McAdoo Creek Road, Austin Brian Court, Porter Hills Drive, Sango Crossing, Towes Lane, Deerwood Road, Ivy Bend Circle and Smith Lane.

Several subdivisions that will be affected include Sango Crossing, Sheffield Woods, Poplar Hills, East Montgomery Estates, Wilson Way Estates, Porter Hills, Pine Village, Sango Place, Welchview, Royalty Acres, the Villages, Grassland East, Roosevelt Ridge, Buckner Pines, Ballygar, Waterbury, Ivy Bend and Easthaven. It is possible that other areas adjacent to the aforementioned streets and subdivisions could be affected as well.

The roads will remain open to traffic during the work; however, motorists are advised to slow down when approaching the work zone and be alert to workers and their equipment.
