Fort Campbell Soldiers and Family Members attend National Night Out 2015

Campbell CrossingNashville, TN – Recently, Campbell Crossing hosted their 2015 National Night Out event. The event was a success with more than 2,000 Fort Campbell Soldiers and family members that came out to participate in this nationwide celebration.

National Night Out is geared toward heightening crime prevention awareness and strengthening the neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships while sending a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are fighting back.

Through our continued partnership with the Fort Campbell Police Department and other public organizations, we were able to provide a fun and educational event for our residents focused on crime prevention and awareness.

Residents witnessed a demonstration by Hopkinsville’s K9 unit, participated in a free child identification registration, have a safety inspection on their children’s car seats, experience a DUI simulator and much more.

“My son loved the demonstrations with the police dogs,” said one Campbell Crossing resident who attended National Night Out. “Thank you Campbell Crossing for doing a fantastic job at putting together such a great event!”

Local vendors from Fort Campbell and the surrounding communities were on hand to show their appreciation for our military families and handed out an array of treats to those in attendance.
