Dense Fog possible for Clarksville-Montgomery County Friday morning

National Weather ServiceNashville, TN – The National Weather Service (NWS) reports that areas of dense fog are possible overnight into Friday morning for Clarksville-Montgomery County and Middle Tennessee.

Moisture from recent rainfall, combined with mainly clear skies, will bring the potential for fog overnight into Friday morning. Some areas will have visibility under one mile at times.

The fog may be especially dense for areas east of interstate 65 and across the plateau. If visibility become very poor over a wide area, a dense fog advisory may be issued.

Fog should clear up before 9:00am Friday morning.

If driving in dense fog, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
