Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office requests Public Assistance Requested in Vehicle Theft

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is asking the community for help in identifying a burglary suspect. The suspect has been captured on video surveillance camera and is believed to be responsible for the theft of a 1999 Silver Chevy Malibu, cell phone, and $300.00 in cash.

The theft occurred at the Woody’s on Dover Road on October 13th, at approximately 5:39pm.

The suspect appears to be a White male, with a small frame, short brown hair, and an unkempt beard. The suspect appears to be between the ages of 22 to 30 years old, 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet 2 inches, and 150 to 170 pounds. At the time of the theft the suspect appears to be wearing a black shirt and black shorts.

A Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency (TWRA) agent observed a suspicious vehicle matching the description of the stolen vehicle in the area of Corbandale Road. When the TWRA agent attempted to make a traffic stop the suspect fled at a high rate of speed.

TWRA and MCSO pursued the vehicle down Palymra Road and Jarman Hollow Road. At the end of Jarman Hallow Road the suspect made a right turn and attempted to drive on the railroad tracks. When the vehicle would no longer drive, the suspect abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot.

Deputies and K-9 attempted to track the suspect.

The owner of the vehicle, Jessany Coleman, works at Woody’s Pizza as a server. The day of the theft a delivery driver was late getting to work so Coleman offered to help deliver pizzas till his arrival. Between deliveries is when the suspect stole her car.

Coleman, a single mother, had $300.00 and a cell phone stolen from her car. The $300.00 was money she had saved from tips for her son’s birthday party and presents. Her son’s birthday is today. His party and presents had to be cancelled.

“He got my iPhone with all the pictures of my son. I will never be able to get that back,” said Coleman. “But I am grateful the deputies were at least able to recover my vehicle. It could have been worse.”
