Rally for Rhyan campaign takes hold on multiple fronts

Austin Peay State University Sports - APSU - Governors - Lady GovsClarksville, TN – Rally for Ryhan has taken hold on multiple fronts in mid-Missouri.

The Rhyan is Ryhan Loos, the five-year-old daughter of Jen and Brad Loos, a Clarksville native who played basketball at Northeast High School, later for his father, Dave Loos, at Austin Peay (1998-2001) and now is a second-season Missouri basketball assistant coach. Late last week Rhyan Loos was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer.

Although Rhyan and the Loos Family have a long fight ahead, they are not facing these challenge alone.

A gofundme.com account has been established to help the Loos Family with upcoming expenses as has a #RallyForRhyan account at all 16 Central Bank locations in the Columbia, MO, area.

In support of Rhyan Loos, a t-shirt, #RallyforRhyan has been designed. Profits from these shirts will go directly to help offset expenses the Loos family will be incurring in these upcoming months. In addition, proceeds from the Missouri Tiger Scholarship Fund “Hoops Fest Costumes and Cocktails”, October 29th, at Mizzou Arena, have been designated to help the Loos Family.

Also, CrossFit Fringe in Columbia is holding a benefit workout for the Loos family at its 3rd Annual Show-Me Strength Challenge this Saturday. The workout dubbed ?#?RallyforRhyan, will see all proceeds go to the Loos Family. Competitors and spectators will sign a banner to deliver to Rhyan.

Austin Peay teams and supporters have gotten behind the #RallyforRyan by been sending messages, photos and videos to the Loos Family while posting messages on the new Facebook page.
