Clarksville Police charge Juvenile for Multiple Vandalisms off of Meriwether Road; Charges Pending on Two Other Juveniles

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Between the evening hours of October 12th, 2015 and the early morning hours of October 13th, 2015, multiple homes near the Glenhurst Way and Harvest Ridge areas, off of Meriwether Road, were vandalized.

The unknown suspect(s) painted graffiti on the houses, the garage doors, the fences, and other parts of some of the homes. The majority of the homes had the number “527” painted on them.

Throughout the investigation, “527” was identified as the day the seniors graduate from high school.

Today, October 19th, 2015, three juveniles were taken into custody for the vandalisms off of Meriwether Road.

Clarksville Police Detective Chris Cunningham filed 14 Juvenile Petitions (1 Petition per home vandalized) on one of the three juveniles. The offense for all 14 Petitions was Vandalism.

The juvenile charged was also a runaway. Charges are pending for the other two juveniles. This is an ongoing investigation. There is no further information.
