Two weeks ago at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional, juniors Aaron Jumonville and Manuel Montenegro earned two impressive wins over quality competition. They, along with four other members, look to carry that momentum into a talented draw in Louisville.

The 14-team field includes three Ohio Valley Conference schools – Morehead State, Murray State and SIU Edwardsville – along with a sample of the strongest teams in the region. In a bracket-style event, singles and doubles matches are split into three different flights (A, B and C).

In singles play, Jumonville and Montenegro will compete in Flight A, with Jumonville facing Indiana’s Stefan Lugonjic and Montenegro against Middle Tennessee’s Miguel Negre Fernandez.

Senior Evan Borowski will take on Louisville’s Michael Quang, sophomore Aleh Drobysh meets Purdue’s Matt Bouggy and freshman Chad Woodham squares off with Northwestern Ohio’s Iustin Baciu in Flight B. In Flight C, freshman Taylor Graalman will have a bye before welcoming Northwestern Ohio’s Austen Hammett.

On the doubles side, Jumonville and Montenegro faces the Flight A Butler duo of Spencer Lang and Adrian Mag, Drobysh and Woodham meet Marquette’s Gleb Sklyr and Alvaro Verdu in Flight B and Borowski and Graalman await a semifinal opponent in Flight C following a bye.
