Clarksville Montgomery County area TDOT Maintenance Work starting October 31st, 2015

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports that on Saturday October 31st, from 8:00am-6:00pm, there will be lane closures on SR 237 (Rossview Road) in order to shift traffic to the newly constructed roadway and bridges.

This is part of the bridge replacement project over Interstate 24 (Exit 8) on State Route 237.

Lane Closure

Looking ahead, on Friday November 6th, from 8:00pm through Monday November 9th, 5:00am, I-24 westbound at MM 8 and SR 237 (Rossview Road) will be closed at the interchange for bridge demolition. Detours will be in place.

Montgomery and Robertson Counties

From now through November 2015, 9:00am-3:00pm (excluding weekends), there will be lane closures on SR 76 eastbound, between Port Royal Road and Harmony Church Road in the city of Adams, in order for Cumberland Electric Membership Corp to place aerial cable at several locations.

Davidson County

On Monday November 2nd, from 8:00pm-5:00am, there will be a lane closure on I-440 eastbound past the Belmont Boulevard overpass/bridge (between MM 3 and MM 5) in order to excavate the median.

Cheatham-Dickson-Hickman Counties

On Monday November 2nd through Wednesday November 5th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be moving lane closures on I-40 in both directions, from the Humphreys-Hickman County line (MM 148) to the Cheatham-Davidson County line (MM 190), for TDOT acceptance testing. All work is weather dependent.

Humphreys County

On Wednesday November 4th, from 7:00pm-2:00am, there will be a lane closure on I-40 eastbound at MM 141.3 for bridge repair operations over the Buffalo River. Troopers will be utilized.

Tennessee Department of Transportation

Motorists are encouraged to use caution and obey reduced speed limits in all TDOT work zones, regardless of lane closure activity.
