The menu also includes fresh-cut fries, hand-squeezed lemonade and chocolate chunk cookies baked daily in the restaurant. Penn Station offers eat-in dining, carry out and catering.

This will be the first Penn Station restaurant in Clarksville. Franchisee Jeremy Lancaster plans to open at least one more restaurant in the area. He is targeting the Gate Four area at Fort Campbell for a second location.

“We are thrilled to bring Penn Station Subs to Clarksville,” Lancaster said. “We own two restaurants in Bowling Green that are doing really well, and we think Clarksville will enjoy our grilled subs and fresh-cut fries as much as Bowling Green has.”

Lancaster got his start in the restaurant industry at Applebee’s as a server during college. He decided he liked the restaurant industry and worked his way up to general manager there and then at Buffalo Wild Wings. In 2004, he became general manager of a Penn Station restaurant in Louisville. When a frequent customer of his decided to invest in a Penn Station franchise, Lancaster partnered with him as managing owner.
