Clarksville O’Charley’s Locations to Honor Veterans as Part of Week-Long Veterans Day Celebration

O’Charley’s restaurants offer free $9.99er meals to veterans on Monday, November 9th leading up to 150th Veteran Celebration

O’Charley’sNashville, TNO’Charley’s Restaurant + Bar locations throughout Clarksville will offer free $9.99er meals to veterans on Monday, November 9th.

All veterans who show their military ID can choose from one of nine $9.99er meals including O’Charley’s Famous Chicken Tenders & Twisted Chips, Bayou Shrimp Pasta and Chicken Fried Steak, among other meals. Restaurant participation may vary by location.

In addition to free meals, veterans will continue to enjoy Free Pie Wednesday on November 11th, choosing from signature pies such as Double-Crust Peach, Southern Pecan, French Silk, Country Apple and Ooey Gooey Caramel. O’Charley’s restaurants bake fruit pies and freshly prepare their own whipping cream in-house every day.

O’Charley’s has a longstanding history of honoring veterans and active duty soldiers. Locations nationwide have undergone a reimaging process that features refurbished store interiors and exteriors, a new brand mark and updated menu items. O’Charley’s is continuing to revitalize restaurants around the country.

As part of the remodeled restaurants’ reopening celebrations, O’Charley’s has recognized 149 veterans and community leaders in the Hometown Hero program.

On Thursday, November 12th the Nashville O’Charley’s will host the 150th Veteran Celebration recognizing the 150thth individual to be named a Hometown Hero. The event will honor Major Joseph Delemos, a dedicated member of the Tennessee Army National Guard. In addition to a celebration with his family and friends, Major Delemos will receive free O’Charley’s for a year.

“Our founder Charley Watkins was a marine veteran himself and over the years we have been able to support and honor our veterans through a variety of programs,” said O’Charley’s President Ned Lidvall. “This is our way to continue his legacy by honoring the men and women who serve our country.”

O’Charley’s will continue honoring local heroes and providing full reimages of the classic, casual dining experience the Nashville-based restaurant chain has been serving the American dining public since 1971. The comprehensive O’Charley’s revitalization plan was orchestrated by new leadership at American Blue Ribbon Holdings, who acquired the restaurant chain in May of 2012.
