Fort Campbell, KY – In honor of the national observance of Veterans Day, Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) personnel will observe the federal holiday Wednesday, November 11th. Therefore, all Soldier and Patient-Centered Medical Homes and pharmacies will be closed.
The hospital remains open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for emergency services, inpatient care, and labor and delivery services.
Veterans Day was selected and observed to represent Germany’s signing of the armistice with the Allies ending World War I.
“Veterans Day is a day American’s set aside to honor service men and women who have and continue to sacrifice by serving in the military,” said BACH commander Col. Telita Crosland. “We encourage everyone to thank veterans this Veterans Day as we reflect upon individuals who gave the ultimate sacrifice and those who continue to deploy and serve our great country.”
