Clarksville Legal Aid Society Secures New Office Location

Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the CumberlandsClarksville, TN – Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands, Tennessee’s largest non-profit law firm, has relocated its Clarksville office from 120 Franklin Street to 109 South Third Street in downtown Clarksville.

The new 3,700 square foot office provides a modern and welcoming location for clients, and is conveniently situated across from the Clarksville courthouse.

Seven Legal Aid Society employees currently work at the new space, providing free legal assistance to low-income individuals in Montgomery County, Cheatham County, Dickson County, Humphreys County, Houston County, Robertson County and Stewart County.

“We want our clients and to come to our office in a professional and welcoming environment,” said Gary Housepian, Legal Aid Society’s executive director. “A more accessible, updated and welcoming office promotes the dignity of our clients and sets the tone for advocating for their rights and well-being.

“The space we use to pursue our mission is crucial to supporting our client’s best interest and, most important, contributing to providing our very best work for our clients and the community,” added Kevin Fowler, Managing Attorney of Legal Aid Society’s Clarksville office. “We’re very excited to have a new location that will provide a great place to continue serving our community, as we have been doing in Clarksville for the past 36 years.”
