Robinson scored a career-high 30 points against the Terriers, connecting on 7-of-9 shots—2-of-2 three pointers—and 14-of-14 free throws.

The St. Louis native’s free-throw marksmanship was a Dunn Center record. Six of his free throws came in the final 1:08 and four after Wofford had sliced the deficit to four points.

Robinson’s previous high was 25 points earlier this season at home against IPFW. With Chris Horton scoring 37 against Lipscomb and Josh Robinson‘s 30 against Wofford, it was the first time APSU had back-to-back 30-point games since Drake Reed did it himself in 2009 (30 vs. TSU, 2/14/09, and 30 vs. JSU 2/17/09).

Robinson enters Monday night’s game with Texas A&M-Corpus Christi having scored 51 points over the last two games (he had 21 vs. Lipscomb), going 15-of-24 (63 percent) from the floor.

It is the first time Robinson has earned the OVC Player of the Week honor. Twice in 2014-15 he earned OVC Freshman of the Week honors.
