Nashville Sounds to hire 250-300 seasonal employees for 2016 season
Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds Baseball Club will host a job fair on Saturday, January 23rd at First Tennessee Park. The team is seeking outgoing, energetic and fan-friendly individuals to become part of the game-day staff for the 2016 season.
The Sounds and Centerplate, the team’s food and beverage service provider, will combine to hire between 250 and 300 employees to operate First Tennessee Park.
Positions to be hired include ushers, ticket scanners, ticket sellers, bag check, team store attendants, parking attendants and cleaning staff. Centerplate positions include concessions, cooks, servers, cashiers and attendants.“Every employee of the Nashville Sounds plays a vital role in the fan experience at First Tennessee Park,” said Sounds Vice President of Human Resources, Amy Schoch. “We take the hiring process very seriously and aim to build the best possible staff we can for the 2016 season. We’re proud to create nearly 300 part-time jobs in Nashville every summer.”

All positions offer flexible hours and schedules, shifts ranging from four to six hours in length, and hourly wages that vary by position.
Interested applicants should come prepared to interview with a Sounds or Centerplate staff member and bring a photo ID and social security card.
The 2016 season will be the Sounds’ 19th year in the Pacific Coast League and their second as the Oakland Athletics’ top affiliate. The Sounds begin the season at First Tennessee Park when they host the Oklahoma City Dodgers on Thursday, April 7th at 6:35pm.
