Clarksville-Montgomery County under Winter Storm Watch beginning Friday morning, January 22nd

National Weather ServiceNashville, TN – The National Weather Service (NWS) in Nashville has issued a winter storm watch for Clarksville-Montgomery County as well as parts of Middle Tennessee that will be in effect for Friday morning through Saturday morning.

The wintry mix that plagued Middle Tennessee earlier today has now moved east. Although many roads will likely remain slick and hazardous through this evening, no additional snow or ice accumulation is expected.

The winter storm watch remains in effect from Friday morning through Saturday morning.

Winter Weather Alert Details

Timing: 6:00am Friday until noon Saturday.
Main Impact: Snow and possibly ice on roads and bridges will create hazardous travel conditions.
Snow Accumulations: 3 to 5 inches are possible with locally higher amounts. Ice accumulations of up to a tenth of an inch are possible especially northwest.
