Clarksville Department of Electricity working power outage cause by vehicle hitting a pole

Clarksville Department of Electricity - CDE - CDE LightbandClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Department of Electricity (CDE) reports an outage on the south side of Clarksville that affected approximately 2500 customers, due to a pole being struck by a vehicle on the 1000 block of Riverside Drive across from Regions Bank.

The following areas were affected: Riverside Drive from Cumberland Drive to Hickory Grove Road, Riverwood Place, Southern Parkway, Talton Drive, Greenland Farms Drive, Ambleside Drive, (Greenland Farms, The Landings, Riverwood Place, Southern Hills, Benton Park), Ashland City Road., Edmonson Ferry Road, Hawkins Road, Kingsbury Road, Slayden Circle, Cloverdale Drive, Cottonwood Drive, Sun Valley Road (Cumberland Hills, Edmondson Ferry Est, Hillwood, Southern View, Sun Valley).

CDE has crews working on the problem.

CDE has been able to isolate the outage while repairs are being made. There are still approximately 1300 customers without power.

The areas that are still out are the following: Ashland City Road, Edmonson Ferry Road, Hawkins Road, Kingsbury Road, Slayden Circle, Cloverdale Drive, Cottonwood Drive., Sun Valley Road (Cumberland Hills, Edmondson Ferry Est, Hillwood, Southern View, Sun Valley).

Crews are still on site making repairs to the downed pole.

Crews are estimating that the outage will be 2-3 hours.
