Clarksville Police Officer Coz Minetos recognized for Service to the Community

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Today, Friday, January 29th, 2016, Walt Blackburn, representing the Western Kentucky Soccer Official Association, presented the 30 Year Service Award to CPD Officer Coz Minetos.

He has been a high-school soccer official in Tennessee and Kentucky for 30 years as of November 2015. In addition to high-school soccer, he has officiated Club Soccer and Inter-Collegiate soccer.

Walt Blackburn said, “Officer Minetos is one of the best officials in our area and has been for many years.”

“Soccer is a release from the work environment. It is a sport that I love, and I enjoy being a part of it as an official and fan!”, stated Officer Coz Minetos.

Officer Minetos is well known in Clarksville for going above and beyond the call of duty as a Police Officer and for his continued efforts to better the quality of life for our citizens. This is another example of his dedication to our community. Through his professionalism on the job and his commitment to Clarksville and the surrounding area, Officer Minetos has proven to be a role model and mentor.

Officer Minetos is a credit to District 3, the Clarksville Police Department, and the City of Clarksville.
