Nashville, TN – The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a freeze watch for Clarksville-Montgomery County which is in effect from late Friday night through Saturday morning.
Strong west winds will continue across the Cumberland Plateau counties through the afternoon. Sustained west winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts as high as 40 mph are expected. Winds will subside late this afternoon into the evening.
In addition, low temperatures will fall into the low to mid 30s early Saturday morning across the watch area. Freezing temperatures could damage or kill sensitive vegetation if left unprotected.
