Clarksville, TN – Rivers and Spires Festival kicks off tonight, Thursday, April 16th with musical entertainment for everyone. This free festival will have musicians of all genres. Tonight’s hours are from 5:00pm-10:00pm.
Hadley Park will get things started on the Public Square Stage at 5:00pm. Taylor X will will hit the Strawberry Alley Stage with her heavily choreographed, dance-driven show at 5:30pm
This free show will display local artisans with a variety of quilts from traditional to one-of-a-kind art quilts. Quilt categories are Traditional Bed Quilt, Non-Traditional Bed Quilt and Art/Wall Quilt.
The Quilts of the Cumberland will be hosting a Trunk Show at 5:30pm. Starr Howell will be presenting a lecture and quilt trunk show entitled “Our Quilts tell Stories”.
Quilts of the Cumberland is being held at the Madison Street United Methodist Church (Commerce Street Entrance).

Corey Farlow closes the first day of Rivers and Spires on the Public Square Stage at 8:30pm.
Corey cut his teeth on true classic country, and 90s era country, with a little southern rock mixed in there for good measure! He brings that influence and his smooth, timeless, pure country voice into the mix of what country is today!

About the Rivers and Spires Festival
The 14th annual Rivers And Spires Festival will be held April 14th-16th in Downtown Clarksville. This event has five stages of entertainment with over 100 entertainers performing all three days. From children’s activities, arts and crafts, car shows, military exhibits, shopping and so much more this is truly an event for the whole family. Admission to the Festival is free including all games, activities and concerts.
Rivers and Spires is one of the biggest festivals in the southeast. Hours this year are: April 14th and 15th from 5:00pm-10:00pm and April 16th from 10:00am–9:00pm. The Family Fun Zone Hours: Friday, April 15th from 5:00pm-8:00pm and Saturday, April 16th from 10:00am–8:00pm. Toddler Town Hours: Friday, April 15th from 5:00pm-7:00pm and Saturday, April 16th from 10:00am–7:00pm.
