Nashville Sounds announce Adam Nuse to be New General Manager

Nashville SoundsNashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds Baseball Club has named Adam Nuse as the team’s new General Manager, an announcement made this afternoon by Sounds owner Frank Ward.

Nuse comes to Music City from the Bowling Green Hot Rods of the Midwest League, where he served as the General Manager and Chief Operating Officer since January 2014.

“We’re excited to bring a general manager of Adam’s caliber on board,” said Ward. “He is a talented and accomplished executive with a strong sales background and a passion for delivering an outstanding entertainment experience to fans. The Sounds look forward to a bright future under Adam’s leadership.”

The Texas native was previously with the Corpus Christi Hooks of the Texas League from 2004-2013, where he served in a variety of sales roles throughout his tenure and most recently served as Vice President of Sales beginning in 2009.

Nuse began his career in professional baseball as a marketing and sales intern with the 2001 Round Rock Express and the 2002 Oklahoma City Redhawks, both in the Pacific Coast League.

Nuse holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Oklahoma and a master’s degree in sports administration from Wichita State University.

“Frank Ward and the Nashville Sounds staff have always been known as leaders in the sports industry. The success with the new ballpark has been fascinating to follow and I am excited to help build on the positive momentum that is in place,” Nuse said. “I’m looking forward to get to know the wonderful fans at First Tennessee Park and to help enhance a first-class fan experience each and every day.”

Nuse comes to the Sounds along with his wife, Sarah, and three children, Lucy, Lola and Hank.

An active member in the community, Nuse served on the board of directors at the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce and Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center. He was also a member of Crossland Community Church, Leadership Bowling Green and Rotary of Bowling Green.
