Patchy Dense Fog possible for Clarksville Montgomery County this morning

National Weather ServiceNashville, TN – The National Weather Service (NWS) reports that patchy dense fog is possible for Clarksville-Montgomery County and across Middle Tennessee through the mid morning hours today, Saturday, May 21st.

As significant breaks in cloud coverage has occurred, patchy dense fog, fog that limits visibilities to less than or equal to one quarter of a mile has formed across locations approaching the Tennessee River valley early this morning.

Thick Fog

With any substantial breaks in cloud coverage this morning continuing across this area and for other locations across the rest of the mid state, patchy dense fog has the potential of forming and lasting through the mid morning hours today.

Please exercise caution while driving on area roadways through the mid morning hours.

Use low beam headlights, leave plenty of room between your vehicle and vehicles ahead of you and remember to give yourself extra time to travel to your destination.

Again, patchy dense fog should begin to burn off by the mid morning hours today.
