Nashville Sounds play four home games against Round Rock Express starting Tuesday

ZOOperstars!, Noon Bash in Nash and Fireworks Friday Highlight Week at First Tennessee Park

Nashville SoundsNashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds Baseball Club begins a four-game homestand on Tuesday, May 31st when they welcome the Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, the Round Rock Express, to First Tennessee Park.

Going into play today, the Sounds hold a 1 ½ game lead over the Express for first place in the American South Division.

Tuesday, May 31st

Nashville Sounds vs. Round Rock
7:05pm, Gates open at 6:00pm

Country music superstar Trisha Yearwood will throw out the ceremonial first pitch and perform “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

“Live from Nashville, it’s Tuesday Night” presented by The Tennessean – Get ready to see baseball’s most entertaining act, the ZOOperstars! The unique show features hilarious characters with clever names such as Harry Canary, Tommy Laswordfish, Clammy Sosa, Shark McGwire and many more. The performance combines synchronized dance routines, acrobatics, tricks and comedy for performances that connect fans of all ages!

Wednesday, June 1st

Nashville Sounds vs. Round Rock
12:05pm, Gates open at 11:00am

Noon Bash in Nash presented by ESPN 102.5 The Game – catch Sounds baseball at high noon!

Major League Baseball’s Play Ball Initiative with Megan Barry, Mayor of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County – Children ages 5-15 will be invited to hit baseballs off a tee on the field post-game. Prizes will be awarded to the longest hit for each age group.

Thursday, June 2nd

Nashville Sounds Pool Tote Giveaway presented by Coca Cola to the first 2,000 fans in attendance

Throwback Thursday presented by iHeartMedia – the Sounds will wear throwback jerseys to commemorate the team’s original uniform style from 1978. Fans can purchase Coca-Cola fountain soda, domestic draft beers and 12oz. cans for $2.00 each. Bud and Bud Light 16oz. cans and import and craft draft beer can be purchased for $3.00 each.

Friday, June 3rd

FOX17 post-game fireworks presented by Koorsen Fire & Security.
