Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Summer Youth Program participates in Summer Food Service Program

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation announces its sponsorship of the 2016 Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) which is administered in Tennessee by the Department of Human Services under an agreement with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Summer Food Service Program

Throughout the duration of the Summer Youth Program, meals will be provided to eligible participating children without a charge.

Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.

Eligibility requirements vary by site and may include a household income assessment as required. Lunches are served Monday through Friday June 9th-July 15th (excluding July 4th) at the Summer Youth Program sites listed below.

  • Woodlawn Elementary School

If you wish to file a Civil Rights program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, found online at http://www.ascr.usda.gov/complaint_filing_cust.html, or at any USDA office, or call 866.632.9992 to request the form.  You may also write a letter containing all of the information requested in the form.
