Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Movies in the Park features Guardians of the Galaxy Saturday, June 18th

Movies in the Park - Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – On Saturday, June 18th, Clarksville’s Movies in the Park, the city’s free, outdoor movie series will be showing the movie Guardians of the Galaxy (rated PG-13)!

This showing is at a new location – McGregor Park! The showings at McGregor Park, located at 640 North Riverside Drive, will take place at the North Extension (behind O’Charleys). The season will continue with the last five showings at Liberty Park, located at 1188 Cumberland Drive.

Movies begin at sunset with pre-show activities beginning one hour before show time. Patrons are encouraged to bring picnic baskets, blankets, and chairs but no pets.

Concessions will be available for purchase onsite for those who do not bring outside food.

In the event of rain, our outdoor movie screenings may unfortunately have to be cancelled. Please refer to our Facebook page www.facebook.com/clarksvillemovies for updates about weather cancellations.

Please be advised:

  1. Movies start at sunset.
  2. You’re welcome to bring picnics, lawn chairs, and blankets.
  3. Alcohol is strictly prohibited.
  4. Please leave your pets at home. No animals, except for certified service animals, are allowed.
  5. Concessions are available for sale.
  6. Smoking will be allowed in the parking lot or designated smoking areas. Please refrain from  smoking within the viewing area.
  7. All minors, anyone under 18 years old, MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No exceptions.

Bring your bug spray, picnic, family and friends, and have a good time!

Clarksville Parks and Recreation and the Clarksville Police Department will absolutely NOT tolerate groups disturbing the movie.  Please find a seat and be respectful of your neighbors’ movie watching experience.  If you are there to socialize and not watch the movie, please do so outside of the viewing area.
