Clarksville-Montgomery County Education Foundation names Abby Binkley New Executive Director

Clarksville-Montgomery County Education FoundationClarksville, TN – Abby Binkley has been named Executive Director of the Clarksville-Montgomery County Education Foundation.

Binkley, who earned her B.S. in K-12 health and physical education from Kennesaw State University and her master’s of education degree in administration and supervision from Bethel University, has one year of school administrative experience and nine years of teaching experience in Clarksville-Montgomery County School System.

Her experience includes two years at Rossview High School, two years in school technology and five years in elementary physical education.

In addition to her high school teaching experience, she has taught at Rossview Elementary School and West Creek Elementary School.

She has completed McREL Balanced Leadership and the Tennessee Academy for School Leaders. On a community level, she is Past-President of Junior Auxiliary of Clarksville and has served on the Customs House Museum Guild 2011-2013. She has been accepted into the 2017 class of Leadership Clarksville. She and her husband, Daniel Binkley, have a daughter.

The Education Foundation Executive Director position formerly was held by Candy Johnson, who is now education policy director for the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce.
