Clarksville Gas and Water releases Clarksville Annual Drinking Water Quality Report

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has released its latest Annual Drinking Water Quality Report and is proud to announce that your drinking water is safe and meets or exceeds all federal and state drinking water standards!

The report, also known as the “Consumer Confidence Report” (CCR), allows water consumers to see the results of the mandated testing that the Clarksville water system has performed to monitor water quality and to prevent health risks over the last calendar year, January 1st, 2015 to December 31st, 2015.

Clarksville Gas and Water has complied with the Federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC), Division of Water Resources regulation mandating the distribution of the report by direct mailing it to customers in their May utility bill.

Additionally, notification of the availability of the report was emailed to e-billing customers on their monthly e-bill notice and multiple copies of the report were hand delivered to apartments, condominiums, nursing and assisted living centers to reach non-billing customers.
