Rising waters causes Clarksville Parks and Recreation to close select parks and facilities

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Due to impeding waters and power outages, Clarksville Parks and Recreation has closed some parks and facilities until further notice.

Parks and Recreation advises citizens to use extreme caution by avoiding these areas all together.

The following parks and facilities will be closed until further notice:

  • Billy Dunlop Park
  • Clarksville Greenway – Includes restrooms and southern portion of the trail extending from Pollard Road toward the water treatment plant.
  • Heritage Park
  • Kleeman Recreation Center
  • McGregor Park
  • New Providence Pool
