The FUEL Block Party and Fundraiser had a silent auction, petting zoo, inflatables, live entertainment, games, and vendors.

All proceeds from the event went to the FUEL Program to help ensure that food is provided for hungry school children. To date, the Clarksville Association of REALTORS has raised over $85,000 for the FUEL Program.

“CAR has always jumped at the opportunity to help with the FUEL program,” said Kayla Goad LeVan, 2016 President of the Clarksville Association of REALTORS. It’s a great way to give back to our community, and our FUEL fundraiser is an event our members are so passionate about. It’s a small way we can help give back to our families in our community,” said LeVan.

“Thanks to the Clarksville Association of Realtors and other organizations, FUEL was able to expand, and start offering food to school children over the summer,” said Denise Skidmore, FUEL Founder.

FUEL is a food subsidization program designed to feed Clarksville-Montgomery County school children through the weekend whose only food source may be the meals they are receiving at school. Individually wrapped items are discreetly made available to the qualifying students each Friday. The program is funded solely through donations and local fundraising efforts and operated through local churches and civic organizations.

The public is always welcome to assist with the donations and to drop off donation items or funds at the Clarksville Association of REALTORS office located at 115 Center Pointe Drive.
