Fort Campbell, KY – On Tuesday afternoon, August 25th, 2016 a 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) soldier was apprehended by military police after they responded to a report of an active shooter near Campbell Army Airfield.
There have been no reports of any injuries and at this time and the installation is currently secure, the gates are open and there are no threats to the post or local communities.
