Many children rely on school breakfast and lunch for their primary meals each day.

The food items supplied help to supplement them over the weekend.

On Saturday, August 27th at Salem United Methodist, ice cream enthusiasts will face off against each other to determine who has created the most delectable ice cream flavor. Celebrity judges will be on hand to sample the entries and determine the winners.

“Everyone can enjoy the music of The Back Lot Pickers while they sample the ice cream and help us raise funds for a great program.  Snowbird will be there as well as several other characters on hand for pictures with the children,” stated Carol Ussery, event committee chairperson.

For those of you out there who really only want to eat the ice cream and not create it, come by Salem United Methodist Church from 4:00pm – 6:00pm on Saturday, August 27th for hot dogs, chips, a drink and some ice cream sampling.

Donations at the door for FUEL would be greatly appreciated.

Salem United Methodist is locatd at 2269 7 Mile Ferry Road, Clarksville, TN.
