Clarksville Police requests public help identifying suspects Papa Murphy’s Armed Robbery

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Detective Chris Cunningham is trying to identify two suspects involved in an Armed Robbery and is requesting public assistance.

On September 5th, 2016 around 9:15pm (after closing time), two unknown black males entered Papa Murphy’s on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard as one of the employees was taking the trash out. The suspects had a firearm and instructed the manager to give them the money out of the registers and safe. After they had taken the money, the suspects fled on foot.

Descriptions

The first suspect was wearing a black and gray plaid jacket over a gray hooded sweatshirt with camouflage pants and gloves. The second suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt over a white shirt with black pants. Both suspects had their faces partially covered. According to the victims, the suspects appeared to be in their late teens or early twenties.

Note

At this time, there is no evidence that indicates that the Robbery at the Dollar General on Madison Street (occurred on the same date between 8:36pm and 8:41pm) and the Robbery at Papa Muphy’s on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard are related. The original release for both incidents (sent in one release together) was sent on Monday September 5th, 2016 at 10:44pm.
