Play will start Friday morning at 9:00am with the Flight 1 and Flight 2 singles action.

City of Clarksville seeks citizen input on Greenways Expansion

 

City of Clarksville - Clarksville, TNClarksville, TN – Local residents, especially those interested in a system of greenways that link North Clarksville to downtown, are invited to a public workshop to discuss the ongoing project.

The workshop is a come-and-go event from 6:00pm-7:00pm, September 22nd at the McGregor Park Museum, 640 North Riverside Drive.

APSU Women's Volleyball - Austin Peay State UniversityCharleston, SC – One final weekend tuneup before Ohio Valley Conference play awaits Austin Peay State University’s volleyball team when it competes in the Bulldog Invitational, Friday-Saturday.

The Govs will open the tournament against host The Citadel, 8:00am, Friday in a game broadcast on ESPN3. Austin Peay then will face Charleston Southern, Elon and Savannah State in the four-match affair.

Clarksville Police are looking for Missing Person Eldridge Howard

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Detective Howard Gillespie from the Clarksville Police Department is searching for a missing adult male and is requesting public assistance.

The missing person is 56-year-old Eldridge Howard from Clarksville.

He was last seen on August 26th, 2016 at approximately 8:15am.

Clarksville Police seek help locating Person Impersonating a Police Officer

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Detective Rodney Lockerman is currently investigating an Impersonating a Police Officer case and is requesting public assistance in locating the suspect.

On September 9th, 2016, 42-year-old JerryLee Ballesteros from Clarksville contacted three different Enterprise Car Rental businesses in the city and identified himself as Lieutenant Davis from the Hopkinsville Police Department.

Clarksville Police are looking for JerryLee Ballesteros in connection to an Impersonating a Police Officer case.

Clarksville’s Riverfest served up great entertainment and fun for everyone

 

Clarksville's Riverfest CelebrationClarksville, TN – On Saturday, September 10th, 2016 the 28th annual Riverfest Celebration wrapped up with all day entertainment, music, games, food and more. Riverfest gives the community a great opportunity to come down to the Cumberland River at McGregor Park and enjoy all the wonderful music with family and friends. Best of all, it’s free.

Saturday got started with the annual Riverfest Regatta at 10:00am at the McGregor Park Boat Ramp. The race consists of boats made out of cardboard or plastic bottles that race down the Cumberland River. This year, nine teams competed in three heats for awards.
