APSU Soccer - Austin Peay State UniversityFort Worth, TX – In the first-ever meeting between the two programs, Austin Peay State University women’s soccer team fell 4-1 against TCU at Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium, Friday.

The Horned Frogs (7-0-1) got off to a dream start, scoring two goals in the opening two minutes.

Colonial Pipeline Partial Closure may cause Temporary Price Increase and Supply Shortage in Tennessee

 

AAAKnoxville, TN – The Colonial pipeline, supplying much of the East Coast running from Texas to New Jersey See Map Here, has been partially closed since September 9th when a leak was discovered in Alabama.

The company originally anticipated having the pipeline reopened by this weekend, but bad weather has delayed the fix. This partial closure has caused tighter supply for some southeast and Mid-Atlantic states.

Austin Peay State University Cross Country teams compete in Rhodes College Invitational, Saturday

Austin Peay State University Sports - APSU - Governors - Lady GovsClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University men’s and women’s cross country teams move forward in the 2016 season, with the Rhodes College Invitational due up Saturday in Memphis.

Needing an additional meet with a gap in the schedule, the Governors added Rhodes to the slate for the first time this decade. The event will be held at Shelby Farms.

The Govs took a big step forward last weekend at the Powerade Invite, with three men’s runners – Daniel Hamm (23rd, 16:12.42), Hezron Kiptoo (24th, 16:14.50) and Tyler Smith (30th, 16:29.96) – finishing in the top 30.

Clarksville Police request help identifying Theft Suspect’s Vehicle

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Detective Andrew Hurst is trying to identify the suspect(s) involved in a felony Theft of Property incident and is requesting public assistance.

Between the dates and times of September 11th, 2016 at 3:00pm and September 12th, 2016 at 8:23am, the truck pictured in the attachment pulled up to a construction site and took thousands of dollars worth of equipment and materials and drove away.

 Clarksville Police are trying to identify the owner of this vehicle.

Clarksville Police reports Impersonating a Police Officer suspect JerryLee Ballesteros in custody

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Detective Rodney Lockerman has been investigating an Impersonating a Police Officer case.

On September 9th, 2016, 42-year-old JerryLee Ballesteros from Clarksville contacted three different Enterprise Car Rental businesses in the city and identified himself as Lieutenant Davis from the Hopkinsville Police Department.

Ballesteros was booked into Montgomery County Jail last night, September 15th, just after 10:00pm.

Clarksville Gas and Water announces Madison Street Road Closure Planned for Sewer Main Work

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water will close a section of Madison Street tonight at 7:00pm from Greenwood Avenue to University Avenue for sewer main line repair work.

South Seventh Street will also be closed from Commerce Street to Madison Street.

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) was recognized by the Tennessee Highway Safety Office (THSO) for their extraordinary efforts in traffic safety.

Every year THSO hosts the Law Enforcement Challenge to honor law enforcement agencies across Tennessee for extraordinary efforts in traffic safety. A total of 73 Law Enforcement Challenge applications were submitted from across the state.

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans (0-1) play their first road game of the regular season this week, traveling to take on the Detroit Lions (1-0). Kickoff at Ford Field (capacity 64,500) is scheduled for 1:00pm EDT/noon CDT on Sunday, September 18th.

This week’s game will be televised regionally on CBS, including Nashville affiliate WTVF NewsChannel 5. Play-by-play announcer Andrew Catalon will call the action alongside analysts Steve Tasker and Steve Beuerlein.
