In addition, she is the third Gov to win at least three awards for an entire career, with Dixon and Tatiana Ariza being the other two.

“She continues to develop confidence in her game and the team is really rallying behind her, which is a great testament to where our team is at,” head coach Kelley Guth said. “We have a lot of players who are determined to do whatever it takes to win, and Kirstin is a player who shares that mindset. We’ve been very fortunate for her to play the way she has been playing this season. It’s been a great run so far.”

The Ashland City, Tennessee, native totaled two goals and two assists in Austin Peay’s two weekend matches at UT Martin, Friday, and Southeast Missouri, Sunday. The Governors defeated the Skyhawks 4-3 before earning a 1-1 draw at SEMO to maintain their unbeaten record in conference play.

Robertson scored two goals and added an assist against UT Martin, combining with senior Gina Fabbro on the first two scores. In the eighth minute, Robertson collected a pass from Fabbro for a tap-in goal, then assisted on Fabbro’s 11th minute goal with a through ball. But after the Skyhawks rallied to tie the match at 3-3, Robertson became the hero, netting the game-winning goal in the 88th minute.

At Southeast Missouri, she assisted on Jennifer Smith‘s goal in the 51st minute, which helped extend the game to overtime and allowed APSU to earn a point.

The junior currently ranks tied for the third nationally with five game-winning goals. In addition, her 10 goals and 23 points rank tied for sixth and seventh, respectively, in the country.

Austin Peay returns to Morgan Brothers Soccer Field for two home matches this week, beginning 7:00pm, Thursday, as league-leading Eastern Kentucky comes to town.
