APSU Men's Basketball - Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University men’s basketball was in total control from the opening tip against Thomas More, running away with a 112-63 win in the exhibition opener.

Six Governors found their way into double figures for Austin Peay, which posted its first 100-point exhibition contest since 2011 (107-96 against Central Missouri).

Austin Peay State University Golf closed fall season at Hummingbird Intercollegiate

APSU Men's Golf - Austin Peay State UniversitySapphire, NC – Junior Justin Arens rallied for an impressive final-round 72 at the Hummingbird Intercollegiate, Tuesday, marking the end to the Governors fall season.

Arens’ bounced back after an opening-round 82, climbing 16 spots to finish 39th after a one-over 72. It was Arens’ fifth round at 72 or better in the fall.

Express Scripts Pharmacy Network Changing for TRICARE Beneficiaries

 

Blanchfield Army Hospital - BACH - Fort Campbell KYFort Campbell, KY – Express Scripts, Inc. (ESI) announced September 30th upcoming changes to the retail pharmacy network it manages on behalf of TRICARE. On December 1st, 2016, Walgreens pharmacy locations will join the network.

CVS pharmacies, including those in Target stores, will leave the network on the same day. The new network will have more than 57,000 locations nationwide, and ensures TRICARE beneficiaries have timely access to retail pharmacies in their community.

Austin Peay State University’s Lindsey Todd named OVC Co-Goalkeeper of the Week

APSU Soccer - Austin Peay State UniversityBrentwood, TN – Junior goalkeeper Lindsey Todd, of Austin Peay State University women’s soccer team, was named Ohio Valley Conference Co-Goalkeeper of the Week, putting a bow on what was a breakout season.

The award is Todd’s second of her career after winning on October 27th last season.

City of Clarksville goes Google, chooses G Suite for workplace apps

 

City of Clarksville reaches for the power of the Cloud to improve productivity, reduce costs

City of Clarksville - Clarksville, TNClarksville, TN – Clarksville Government is going Google with a new set of tools that will help employees work together more efficiently and deliver better service to residents.

Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan announced today that the City of Clarksville has chosen G Suite for Government as its provider of a comprehensive package of productivity applications that includes email, documents, calendaring and scheduling, instant messaging, video sharing and conferencing, and unlimited cloud-based data storage.

Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan and Maura Sullivan, chief operating officer for the City of Chattanooga, conduct a live video chat, or “Hangout,” to demonstrate some one of the capabilities of G Suite. The City of Clarksville announced Tuesday that it had “gone Google’ and chosen G Suite to provide of a comprehensive package of workplace productivity applications. Sullivan said Chattanooga started using G Suite a year ago and has been pleased with the results.

Roxy Regional Theatre presents Shakespeare’s “Henry V”, November 4th – November 12th

 

Clarskville's Roxy Regional TheatreClarksville, TN – What makes a man a king? And, by the same token, what makes a king a man?

This fall, the Roxy Regional Theatre delves into these questions with the company’s 32nd annual foray into the works attributed to William Shakespeare. An exploration into the nature of leadership and its relationship to morality, “Henry V” opens Friday, November 4th, at 8:00pm, for a limited run.

One of Shakespeare’s most famous history plays and the final in a tetralogy preceded by Richard II, Henry IV, Part 1, and Henry IV, Part 2, the play is based on the life of King Henry V of England and centers around events occurring before and after the battle of Agincourt in 1415, during the Hundred Years War.
