Montgomery County announces Billy Ray Cyrus to Ride in Veterans Day Parade

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Government is pleased to announce that country singer Billy Ray Cyrus will be riding in the Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, November 5th, as a guest of Appleton’s Harley Davidson.

Cyrus, along with a special guest of his, will be riding with a group of motorcyclists in the parade to support Operation Home Front.

The parade begins at 10:00am in Downtown Clarksville, with pre-parade ceremonies set for 9:00am on the Third Street side of the Historic Courthouse.

This year’s Veterans Day parade theme is “Spend the Day with a Veteran.”

The Parade will begin at the corner of North Eighth and College Streets, next to the Sundquist Science Building at Austin Peay State University, with the reviewing stand located on the Third Street side of the courthouse. The parade will proceed from College left onto University Avenue, right onto Main Street, left onto Third Street, left onto Commerce Street, left onto University Avenue, right onto Franklin Street, left onto Eight Street and back to the APSU parking area.
    
Following the parade, Cyrus will perform at Appleton’s Harley Davidson as a tribute to the soldiers of Fort Campbell and in support of Operation Home Front. All are invited to attend!
