Craig was the only player at the FCS level to throw for five TDs on the day and his 466 yards of total offense was the second most on the weekend.

He completed 17-of-25 passes for 322 yards and five touchdowns (a school record for a freshman) while carrying the ball 20 times for 144 yards (7.2 ypc). The 144 yards were the fifth-most by an OVC player this season (and most by a quarterback).

Craig had touchdown passes of six, 34, six, six and 40 yards, with the final coming with 1:05 to play which put the Governors ahead 40-34; the five touchdown passes are tied for the most in the OVC this season.

The 466 yards of total offense are the most by an OVC player this season and 18th-best in the FCS. Craig is the first APSU player to pass for 300 yards in a game since 2011 and first Govs quarterback to throw for 300 and rush for 100 yards from available records.

Craig led the Govs to a school record 644 yards of total offense, a mark that is the tops in the OVC in a game this season. The team’s 644 yards was also the best total offensive output over the weekend in the FCS.

He also becomes the first APSU player to earn offensive player of the week OVC since Jake Ryan earned on November 18th, 2012. Craig is the second player this season to earn weekly recognition from the league office after Kyran Moore was named Specialist of the Week on September 25th.
