Montgomery County Veterans Treatment Court held Harvestival October 29th

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – Veterans and their families celebrated the fall season with the Montgomery County Veterans Treatment Court on October 29th at Rotary Park. Present at the event were current and alumni participants of the VTC, Veteran Mentors, VTC Team and Staff, and their families.

“We get to know our participants that we see regularly, sadly we don’t build the same connection with their families.” Said Judge Goble. “Strong, positive relationships are critical in getting through the VTC. We are celebrating these relationships and hopefully creating new ones with friends.”

Pumpkin painting and face painting were just some of the events for kids at the VTC Harvestival.

The day’s events consisted of mini games and pumpkin painting for the kids. There was also a corn-hole competition.

Judge Goble and VTC Team member, Richard Meeks took charge of the grill along with the help of other volunteers.

The VTC Veteran Mentors provided music and helped with activities.

“It was so nice to see participants and their families interacting with each other, and getting to know one another, outside the court.” said Anna Batson, the newest member of the Veterans Treatment Staff.
