Clarksville Police releases update on Eve Drive Vehicle Crash

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police responded to a vehicle accident on Eva Drive Sunday, November 13th, 2016 where a 9-year old male had taken a car on a joy ride.

The child is autistic. He has had a few minor issues and ran off a few times, but nothing to this extent. He is in stable condition with a few lacerations, broken bones, and other injuries, but is expected to recover.

Clarksville Police work Vehicle Crash near Intersection of Daniel Street and Gracey Avenue

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Currently, the Clarksville Police Department is investigating a crash that occurred just after 2:00pm on Sunday, November 13th, 2016. A single vehicle crashed into a building near the intersection of Daniel Street and Gracey Avenue.

No one was in the building, and there were three passengers in the car. All three occupants fled the scene, and two were apprehended soon after they fled.

Clarksville Police reports 9-year old takes car on joyride, crashes on Eva Drive

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department is investigating a crash with injuries that occurred on Eva Drive just after 11:30am Sunday, November 13th, 2016.

A 9-year-old male took his mother’s friend’s car for a joyride and crashed and was ejected from the car.

He was transported by LifeFlight to a medical facility in Nashville.

USDA - U.S. Department of AgricultureWashington, D.C. – Circumstances can alter the chosen cooking method for a turkey just as a detour causes driver to find an alternate route. A power outage may occur, an oven may fail at an inopportune time, and more than one large food item may need cooking.

The conventional oven—the appliance most often used to cook a whole turkey—is not the only way to get the big bird cooked safely. The following methods suggested by the USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline are alternate routes for cooking a turkey safely.

Qayyarah West Airfield, Iraq – Smoke rose in the distance from an oil field set on fire during the battle between Iraqi security forces and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant as U.S Army Sgt. Addison Owen stood outside his tent.

Owen, an infantryman with Company B, 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, Task Force Strike, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) is no stranger to Iraq, this is his second time deployed to the country.

On his first deployment he fought beyond the oil-field, but now he has a different mission. In support of Operation Inherent Resolve he is part of a multi-national effort to assist the Iraq security forces.
