APSU Women's Volleyball - Austin Peay State UniversityMurray, KY – Returning to the postseason for the first time in two years, Austin Peay State University’s volleyball team will help raise the curtains on the 2016 Ohio Valley Conference Volleyball Championship.

The third-seeded Governors will face sixth-seeded Tennessee State in an 11:30am, Thursday contest at Murray State’s Racer Arena.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Warrant Wednesday, November 16th, 2016

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Warrant Wednesday is being conducted by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) to help reduce the over 6000 active warrants on file.

Every Wednesday three wanted individuals will be spotlighted on the Sheriff’s Office Facebook page. They will be chosen based on felonies committed, number of warrants on file, or if they are considered dangerous.

Today’s Warrant Wednesday focuses on Ricky Borders and Tiffany Mosley.

Clarksville Police announces Road to be Closed for Crash Reconstruction November 17th

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department has announced that tomorrow, Thursday, November 17th, 2016 starting at 10:00am, there will be traffic delays in the area of 101st Airborne Division Parkway and Trenton Road while CPD Traffic Investigators reconstruct a fatal traffic crash that occurred on October 23rd, 2016.

The reconstruction will take approximately two hours to complete (10:00am to 12:00pm).

APSU Baseball - Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – Looking ahead to its 2018 campaign, Austin Peay State University’s baseball team addressed its foreseeable needs by adding seven players to its roster during the early signing period.  

Austin Peay added two pitchers, a pair of two-way players, two infielders and a catcher to its 2018 roster.

Fort Campbell announces lane closure scheduled for November 28th

 

U.S. Army Fort CampbellFort Campbell, KY – A lane closure is scheduled on Fort Campbell to make repairs on a bridge located on Jordan Springs Road at Hell Cat Trail.

Work will take place on November 28th between the hours of 6:00am, or safe light conditions, until 4:00pm. This work will possibly impact the area for up to 7 days.

The contractor will have signage placed at Ghost Corps Trail for the detour, as well as at Palmyra and Jordan Springs Roads.

The road will reopen to traffic as soon as work is completed.

Directed by Ryan Bowie and choreographed by Emily Rourke, “The Happy Elf” follows Eubie the Elf on his musical mission to bring Christmas cheer to Bluesville, a town on Santa’s naughty list. But can he turn a whole town of naughty children nice in just one day?

The Titans and Colts are each hoping to gain ground or at minimum keep pace with the first-place Houston Texans, who lead the AFC South with a record of 6-3. The Texans travel to Mexico City this week to play the Oakland Raiders on Monday night.
