This is now Robinson’s fourth individual honor awarded in the last three days.

After earning Tarkett Sports Class Tournament MVP honors, Sunday, following the tournament’s conclusion, Robinson was named adidas® Ohio Valley Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week and College Court Report’s Player of the Week fan vote, Monday.

Robinson filled the stat line last week, averaging 21.0 points on 47.5 percent shooting, adding 4.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.0 steals to lead the Govs to a 3-1 record that included two wins at the Tarkett Sports Classic, hosted by Miami. The St. Louis native was named Tournament MVP of the three-game event in Oxford, averaging 22.3 points on 46.9 percent shooting against Northern Kentucky, Miami and Delaware.

He opened the tournament with a 31-point outburst against the Norse, hitting 11-of-16 from the floor and 8-of-9 from the free-throw line in his season’s first 30-point performance; he and senior John Murry led the Governors back from a 16-point deficit with 12 minutes to go, with Robinson scoring 16 points during the final 12 minutes.

The finale at Oxford will be a memorable day in Robinson’s Austin Peay career. With 18:23 remaining in the second half, he scored his 1,000th career point, becoming the 32nd Governor, 13th guard and 11th APSU player since 2006 to reach that milestone.

That bucket was part of a 23-point, five-rebound, five-assist effort against the Blue Hens, but Robinson saved the best for last against Delaware. He capped his weekend with the go-ahead bucket with 1.9 seconds to go, taking the in-bounds pass following a Delaware free-throw and going coast-to-coast for a lay-up.

Robinson opened the week with a 17-point, career-high seven assist, six-steal performance—part of a Dunn Center-record 17 steals acquired by the Governors—in a 107-67 win against Oakland City.

This is Robinson’s second career TSWA honor; he earned the January 26th, 2016 weekly award as well.

Robinson and the Govs host Spalding, 7:00pm, Saturday, in the Dunn Center. Fans can get $3.00 tickets for Saturday’s contest by purchasing online at www.letsgopeay.com/sporttix and using the promo code THANKS at checkout.
