Tennessee Bureau of Investigation sets up Hotline to Report Missing Persons in East Tennessee Wildfire Areas

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has established a hotline to coordinate reports of missing persons in the areas affected by the recent wildfires in East Tennessee.

Those wishing to report missing individuals believed to be in the affected areas of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Wears Valley may contact 1.800.TBI.FIND.

Callers should be prepared to relay as much identifying information as possible, including names, phone numbers, vehicle identification, and last known whereabouts.

Rates backed her defender down and pulled up for a turnaround jumper, the eventual game-winning shot.

Tennessee Lady Vols hand Tennessee State 86-36 loss

UT Lady VolsKnoxville, TN – Junior Jaime Nared recorded her third consecutive double-double as No. 22/25 Tennessee defeated Tennessee State, 86-36, on Wednesday at Thompson-Boling Arena.

Nared scored 16 points to go along with 10 rebounds, three steals and two assists on the night. Redshirt junior Diamond DeShields posted her second double-double of the season, totaling 15 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, three blocks and two steals.

A strong defensive outing by Tennessee (4-2) helped the Lady Vols roll past the Lady Tigers (1-5) in front of a home crowd of 7,845. TSU was held to 20 percent (13-65) shooting on the night and no Tiger reached double-digits in scoring. UT finished with 14 steals and 10 blocks in the game.

Montgomery County Animal Care and Control closed Thursday for Skills Training

 

Montgomery County Animal Care and ControlMontgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Animal Care and Control (MCACC) will be closed on Thursday, December 1st, from 10:00am to 4:30pm.

Staff will be attending an Animal Friendly – Customer Smart People Skills Training for Animal Shelters and Rescues in Williamson County.

However, MCACC will be open from 4:30pm to 7:00pm tomorrow for adoption night.

Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan lifts Burn Ban

 

Conditions improve after rainfall, cooler weather

The lifting of the ban means that reasonable outdoor open burning is once again permitted in all areas inside the city limits.

Clarksville Police seek help identifying Medicine Shoppe Burglary Suspects

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Detective Kenny Bradley with the Clarksville Police Department is trying to identify two suspects involved in a Commercial Burglary and is requesting public assistance.

On November 24th, 2016 at 6:00am, Clarksville Police Officers responded to a Burglary at the Medicine Shoppe at 1500 Madison Street.

Two black males forced their way into the business and stole several items.

Montgomery County Emergency Service Personal head to East Tennessee to assist in Wildfires

 

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Emergency Medical Services (MCEMS) and Montgomery County Volunteer Fire Service have answered the call for assistance for the wildfires in East Tennessee.

Currently five MCEMS personnel and 14 volunteer fire personnel are in route to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area to provide assistance to the emergency personnel already on the scene.
