Clarksville Association of Realtors Adopts 100 “Angels” For Salvation Army

Clarksville Association of REALTORSClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Association of Realtors® (CAR) Helping Hands Committee and many other REALTORS within the organization adopted 100 Angels for the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program.

“There is such a need in our area, and I’m thankful for the chance to help,” said Kathy Knobel, a Clarksville Realtor and 2016 member of CAR’s Helping Hands Committee.

Mrs. Knobel has partnered with the Salvation Army to collect donations for the Angel Tree program for 32 years.

“Participating in the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program is a proud tradition at CAR,” said Valerie Dirks, 2016 Chair of CAR’s Helping Hands Committee. “We believe, as Realtors, it’s important to remember those in our community who might need some help,” said Dirks.

The Helping Hands Committee at the Clarksville Association of Realtors focuses on encouraging volunteerism and the spirit of community service within the association’s membership. Each year, Helping Hands works with not only the Salvation Army, but also with several other organizations in Clarksville, and with individual citizens of our community.
