#21 Tennessee Vols beat Nebraska Cornhuskers 38-24 in the Music City Bowl

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsNashville, TN Joshua Dobbs racked up 409 yards of total offense and four touchdowns, Derek Barnett set a new Tennessee sack record and the No. 21 Tennessee Volunteers took a 38-24 win over the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the 2016 Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl on Friday at Nissan Stadium.

Tennessee (9-4) led from start to finish and posted 521 yards of offense thanks to Dobbs’ outstanding career finale. Dobbs, who was named MVP of the game, ran for 118 yards and three scores on 11 carries and finished 23-of-38, throwing for 291 yards and one touchdown.

Clarksville Police announces Cash Express owner offers Reward in Armed Robbery case

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On December 28th, 2016 at approximately 4:50pm at Cash Express at 1671-2 Fort Campbell Boulevard, the male in the video entered the store and demanded money from the clerk.

The Clarksville Police Department reports that the owner of the business is offering an $1000.00 reward for tips leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect responsible for the robbery.

Clarksville Police identify Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library Theft Suspect

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police have identified the person that stole from the Wings of Love display at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library.

CPD Detective Scott Beaubien has taken out a warrant on Alex Hines for the theft.

On December 14th, 2016 between 7:50pm and 7:57pm at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library at 350 Pageant Lane, Hines entered the library and stole a black 32” flat screen TV with a DVD player from the Wings of Love display.

Alex Hines is wanted for stealing a TV from the Wings of Love display at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library on December 14th.

Clarksville Police are trying to identify Cash Express Armed Robbery Suspect

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Detective Kevin Shaw with the Clarksville Police Department is trying to identify a suspect involved in an Armed Robbery and is requesting public assistance.

On December 28th, 2016 at approximately 4:50pm at Cash Express at 1671-2 Fort Campbell Boulevard, the male in the video entered the store and demanded money from the clerk. He told the clerk it was a robbery and that he had HIV and needed money for pills.

Clarksville Gas and Water announces Harold Drive Water Outage

Area residents may also experience low water pressure during the work.

Tennessee Vols beats Texas A&M, 73-63

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsCollege Station, TX Tennessee had four players finish in double figures and Grant Williams tied the single-game school record for blocked shots as Tennessee earned a 73-63 win at Texas A&M in the SEC opener on Thursday night.

Williams stuffed the stat sheet for the Vols (7-5, 1-0 SEC) with 12 points, five rebounds and six blocks. Those six swats matched the most ever recorded in a game by a Volunteer and is the most for UT since Kyle Alexander finished with the same total last season at TCU.
