Montgomery County, TN – The Clarksville Montgomery County School System shares with our parents and guardians concern about the impact of weather on student safety right now.
CMCSS is monitoring the weather situation.
The National Weather Service has advised that this system should be clearing within the hour, which would make road travel safer. The system moved about 80 miles farther north than they originally predicted.
CMCSS will release further information if anything changes.
cancel school yesterday when there wasnt any snow, and have school today with snow? Lol. #IDIOTS
For better safe dissmiss kids now. I live in the street that car stock driving up the street so please send kids home so they will be much safe
So you think the bus will make it if cars are already stuck????
Bus will not make it safe sorry
I mean I have a child in school too, but I’d rather give them the chance to clear roads
I will go pick my kids now cause road will get worst and i know Clarksville never clean right
Some of the side roads are bad!!!! It be better to dismiss now for the kids that are on some back roads that hasn’t been plowed or salted
Let them clean and salt the streets first! I don’t want the bus with my child on throes roads right now!!
I’m going to pick mine up…better be safe than sorry
This is bullcrap they need to let staff and kids go home for their safety
What idiots run the school board….No snow yesterday and school dismissed early because it might snow….Lots of snow today and school still in session while the school monitors the situation? What the hell.!
